Under the Know Yourself section in the canvas, list down your Startup SWOT. What is your business’ Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities and Threats? It is essential for you to be aware of all these aspects of your business before you speak with real investors

List down all the Financial Commitments you have for your business so that you have a clear idea about the kind of funding you require

Step 4

Write down your Business Pitch in 2-3 sentences in this section. Be prepared about what you are going to talk and how you going to sell your solution to the investors. The pitch should be precise and grab their attention

Step 5

Under the Look Ahead section, list down your Growth Strategy. Write down the plan to grow your business and how you aim on getting there. Also mention your Funding Strategy in the next section as to how you are going to finance your growth. Write down how you will utilize your funds to grow your business.

Step 6

Under the section Next Round, mention your Funding Need. Write down clearly how much funds you require and for what.

Step 7

Mention your Investor Type. What type of investors do you think will best align with your financial and smart needs.

Step 8

In the last segment, just make a list of all the Investor Details. Mention the names and numbers of the investors who you plan on approaching in the next 4 months.
