Active Citizenship & Leadership Program

Turning children into creative citizens of today and leaders of tomorrow

We are a group of facilitators, practitioners, and parents who follow creative practices with children that lets them experience the big world via small experiences, strengthening core values, and becoming problem solvers. Our work is centered on building capacity with young leaders of tomorrow, today.
ACLP encourages students to attend to the common good and play an active role in the life of the school, their local community and beyond. Students are encouraged to find their voices, participate in decision-making, and to embrace their leadership potential. Through meaningful community service, we strive to develop an increased sense of personal action and social responsibility.

Our Methodology

  • Self Aware

Centered around Self Awareness, Empathy, Discovering Realities and Imagining the World we all desire.

Children enter the learning journey with an open mind, as an absorbent agent. Learners in this stage start to look at their world differently, gain consciousness about their choices & actions and are able to appreciate the complexities around them better.

  • Active Citizens

This phase helps expand the immediate world of children, connects them to local bodies, administration, organizations and markets. Sensitizing them to discover problems and challenges.

Young leaders become cognizant of Civil Society, their role in Democracy, impact of their choices in the Marketplace and role of Digital Media.

  • Inspired Leaders

This phase inspires the leader in her through Creativity, Action and Service Learning.

Young leaders create lasting change and leave our neighborhoods and cities better off than they found it. This phase empowers children to take action. Children step onto the road to action, collaboratively solve real life challenges, navigate through struggles & roadblocks, building leadership and 21st century skills along the way.

Our Mission and Vision

Our mission is to inspire school students discover & solve local challenges, learn about their role as active citizens and tap their leadership potential to create impact.
